The conference presentations and panel discussions will provide space for both scientific approaches and the sharing of practical experiences. Special attention will be given to the topic of functional urban areas, which examines territorial units based on the economic, social, and infrastructural connections between settlements. The themes of cultural heritage and memory will explore issues of local identity, sense of place, social cohesion, and the preservation of built heritage. Discussions on futures studies, artificial intelligence, and healthcare innovations will also contribute to understanding how innovative, sustainable, and resilient regions can be developed in a constantly changing world shaped by challenges that are still unknown today.

The aim of the program is to foster scientific and policy dialogue in order to support the development of decentralized, sustainable, and cooperation-based regional visions for the future. The 11th edition organically continues the KRAFT conference series: building on the heritage-based urban development and interregional cooperation highlighted at the 2024 jubilee event, the 11th International KRAFT Conference will focus on integrating these themes into future-oriented regional strategies.
